The Business Systems Analyst plays a vital role in supporting customers through technology. This person utilizes creative, flexible, critical thinking to analyze and resolve complex problems, processes, or support requests while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

 A well-executed implementation of Ready Enroll, The Standard’s enrollment system, is a key activity in the new customer onboarding experience. The primary focus of this position is to manage the customer experience during the design, build and implementation of Ready Enroll. The Business Systems Analyst provides client-facing strategic and tactical consultation as the Ready Enroll subject matter expert. Lead and direct all activity related to the implementation of Ready Enroll including oversight of system configuration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, benefits enrollment, payroll integration and carrier transmission. Responsible for managing enrollment system implementation projects, including schedule, risk identification and mitigation and issue management, which results in the accurate and timely implementation of Ready Enroll.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.
  2. Must have 2-3 years experience implementing customer-facing applications.
  3. Four to six years progressively responsible experience in systems administration, group insurance benefits, project management or business analysis, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
  4. Moderate/Advanced proficiency in two or more of the following: Enrollment Systems, Data Feeds/EDI implementations, Microsoft Excel, Lean methodology, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Principals and Practices.

Knowledge:  In depth understanding of implementing customer-facing applications. Recognized Subject Matter Expert in one or more systems or technologies.

 

Leadership:  Serve as an informal leader to other team members, customers and internal stakeholder teams to ensure success in meeting team and departmental and strategic goals.

 

Autonomy: Determines methods and procedures on day-to-day and new assignments.

 

Problem Solving: Performs accurate assessments of complex situations and able to recognize broad impacts of problems. Systematically organizes information to develop, compare and assess issues and logical solutions.

 

Interpersonal Skills: Listens attentively, proactively shares information, and seeks opportunities to strengthen relationships through collaboration. Effectively presents complex information to diverse customers in a compelling manner.
