As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will play a key role in performing strategic and tactical anlaysis of HR, Benefits, Timekeeping and Payroll systems. You will work with customers to acquire necessary understanding of business objective and processes. Performs analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and serves as a liason with Information Technology. The Business Systems Analyst participates and leads small to very large project. Duties on projects may include leading and documenting business requirements; creating test strategy, writing test cases; and managing end-user testing.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or similar field. We will consider combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Knowledge: In depth understanding of HR & Payroll Systems. Recognized Subject Matter Expert in more than one system and technology.
Leadership: Serves as a mentor to other team members, customers and project team members to ensure success in meeting team and departmental and strategic goals. Able to diffuse emotionally intense situations in a productive manner.
Autonomy: Determines methods and procedures on day-to-day and new assignments.
Problem Solving: Performs accurate assessments of complex situations and able to recognize broad impacts of problems. Considers interdependencies and the impact of actions before making decisions.Systematically organizes and integrates information to develop, compare and assess issues and logical solutions and recognize trends. Challenges ideas, assumptions and conclusions of others in a constructive way.
Interpersonal Skills: Listens attentively, proactively shares information, and seeks opportunities to strengthen relationships through collaboration. Effectively presents complex information to diverse customers in a compelling manner. Anticipates customers’ needs and asks insightful questions to identify root issues.
