Responsible for the provision, support and maintenance of audio visual equipment deployed across conference rooms and live event management. The position involves a high degree of exposure, sometimes working with senior leadership and business clients to deliver AV services and training. Requires the ability to make quick judgement calls in stressful situations.
The Audio Visual Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Punctuality, dependability, critical thinking and excellent problem solving skills are key to this role.
The Audio-Visual Specialist will also provide technical assistance and support during events as requested or as needed. It is important that the AV Specialist be familiar with the building, its equipment, policies, programs, corporate branding and the day-to-day schedule of events.
All other duties as assigned.
Essential function requirements:

Ability to: Provide technical AV support prior and during meetings and events. Provide guidance on best practices and training how to use AV equipment to ensure a successful event. Provide excellent customer service and have excellent listening skills to meet the needs of clients. Work collaboratively in a team environment; maintain confidentiality; prioritize, organize and coordinate work assignments; use Microsoft Office tools; communicate and interact with people at all levels in the organization, industry and community; ability to meet deadlines; and ability to understand company operations.
Job Specifications: (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required)
Education: College degree in communications or relevant technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 -5 years practical experience in an AV or IT communications environment preferred.

Must be able to lift 20 to 30 pounds and stand for up to two hours
