Manage various activities related to complex fund setup and maintenance on our GA and NAV platforms. Maintain relationships with fund companies to understand and execute fund changes. Manage platform level investment changes. Act as a liaison between investment research, sales, service and fund companies.
This position can be located in Cincinnati, OH or Portland, OR.
Manage various activities related to complex fund changes on our Group Annuity and NAV platforms. Represent retirement plan operations as a subject matter expert on our complex fund related products and services including various types of portfolio offerings, qualified default investment alternatives, investment re-enrollments and Mainspring Managed. Be the primary resource on inquiries from sales, and service representatives regarding investment fund availability, and problem solve any roadblocks on new fund additions.
Identify potential risks and/or gaps in our fund related processes, make recommendations for both process and system improvements. Create and maintain procedure documents. Mentor and train less experienced team members. Review the work of team members and provide detailed feedback. Act as subject matter expert and represent the team in IT projects and process improvements. Partner with other teams and provide direction on complex fund related issues, including customer action or notifications. Be a resource in systems upgrades and testing. Assist other functional teams as needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or related field, or the equivalent of education and /or relevant experience.
Understanding of fund operations, various investment products, and retirement plans. Strong organizational, leadership, communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work complex issues to resolution by coordinating multiple resources.
Minimum 6 years of experience in investment products or retirement plans.
