Responsible for initiating actions required to repair and maintain a high rise office building(s).
Service all electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems as required to maintain reliable and efficient building operation.
Respond to tenant and customer requests in a courteous and timely manner.
Maintain and repair building architectural finishes.
Assist with service and construction contracts to reduce costs and provide quality assurance.
Maintain a safe work environment for building occupants by understanding the proper use of equipment and chemicals, recognizing potential problems and reporting as needed. Test and service fire and life safety equipment as required by public agencies and insurance carriers.
Education: High School or GED degree preferred
Experience: Must have prior experience in building maintenance, refrigeration, and air-conditioning, electrical and plumbing, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Professional certification required: LME required
Physical Demands: Ability to service and maintain building electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Frequent standing, kneeling, and lifting of objects 25 pounds and greater.
