    Support all businesses with end-to-end strategic supplier management functions from sourcing to ongoing supplier relationship activities for all indirect spend categories except IT.  In conjunction with the business owners, develop strategies that lead your customers through the supplier management engagement that meets the business's requirements.  Apply developed and implemented best practices in all enterprise supplier management processes from sourcing, developing supplier slection criteria, competitive bidding with RFx's, supplier scoring and selection, contract negotiations and renewals, and ongoing supplier relationship with business reviews.  This position will work directly with business owners and decision makers in order to develop and execute on effective enterprise suppleir management strategies.  Stakeholder and expectation management as well as proactive communication is essential to execute on the strategies and meet internal customer satisfaction.  The Enterprise Supplier Management, Sr. Manager is also responsible for developing expertise in the categories of indirect spend supported that includes; industry & market trends, supplier capabilities, deep financial understanding of cost drivers, and alignment with the business's strategies.  This role collaborates with IT, Procurement, Corporate Financial Services teams, and other business departments as appropriate. 


    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with business owners and business requirements
    • Facilitates all Enterprise Supplier Management engagements with developed best practices/processes and applies appropriate supplier management governance
    • Utilize developed tools to properly capture supplier management activities with all engagements
    • Lead internal customers through all sourcing enagements and provide proper expectations on the processes, risks, costs, and governance
    • Provide guidance on contracting risk and financial cost driver that leads to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
    • Builds and manages relationships with business owners and all external or internal resources that are involved in the servcies being delivered and supported
    • Work with the business owners to ensure that the suppliers are executing on their contractual obligations
    • Lead business owners through the supplier management proces with appropriate periodic business reviews
    • Provide guidance and expertise in resolving any supplier performance issues
    • Proactively stay up to date on market and industry trends and communicate how they may impact current operations
    • Proactively manage all enterprise supplier management responsibilities with contract renewals, contract negotiations, and supplier business reviews


    1. Organize workload and prioritize tasks to meet changing priorities and deadlines; plan, schedule, implement and manage multiple projects simultaneously; analyze problems and evaluate solutions at both strategic and tactical levels; act independently and make decisions; work effectively in collaboration with peers and team members; assess customers needs and purchase appropriately;  project management skills; advanced systems analysis skills; express ideas clearly to a broad audience in both written and oral communications; negotiation capabilities including contract administration skills; and senior management influencing skills; effectively resolve conflicts; build relationships.
    2. Communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel; develop short and long range plans to meet operational and strategic objectives; make decisions in the absence of specific direction; consistently deliver on high quality customer service expectations; negotiate complex project and technical issues; and ability to drive significant cost reductions through negotiations and process improvements.
    3. Advanced knowledge of: Purchasing and Supplier Management methods and best practices.
    4. Demonstrated experience with contract negotiations, supplier management life cycle, and stakeholder management.
    5. Working knowledge of: Accounting principles, contract law, cost drivers models and supplier governance
    6. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
    7. Experience: Six to ten years of progressively responsible experience in supplier management and procurement, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
    8. Professional certification preferred: APICS, CPM, SPSM.
