    Implement and manage the contract and relationships with strategic suppliers. The emphasis will be on quality, performance, cost containment, and customer service. The Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible:

    Managing supplier performance against contract. 

    Responsible for measuring and managing the supplier’s Key - Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) on a regular and ongoing basis. 

    Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations of the supplier are being successfully achieved.

    Drive root cause and corrective action with the supplier, and/or internal teams to resolve failures in meeting expected service levels.

    Will identify continuous improvement opportunities with the supplier, help plan the strategy for implementing those identified opportunities, and then help manage the execution of the improvements.

    Responsible for initiating contract change requests in coordination with the supplier and with Supplier Management.

    The ability to influence various stakeholders at all levels of the organization and within the supplier organizations is a critical skill for this role. Desired results are achieved through the ability to effectively influence.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitates support of contract delivery and governance for strategic suppliers
    • Coordinates contract compliance reviews with Supplier Management
    • Builds and manages relationships with strategic suppliers
    • Provides input in supplier selection process regarding service level agreements
    • Works to ensure that suppliers meet or exceed their contractual obligations by delivering quality products and services on time
    • Ensures performance to the contract through consistent and transparent compliance monitoring and performance management against stated goals and measurements
    • Coordinates required contract change requests and contract amendments with Supplier Management team to drive improved SLA's, metrics, etc with strategic suppliers
    • Participates in the defined governance process
    • Facilitates issue resolution between Suppliers and the business unit(s)
    • Owns the quarterly business review process between Standard’s Executives and the Supplier’s Executive team 
    • Responsible for supplier’s overall performance
    • Subject matter expert for all contact related performance guarantees
    • Ensures healthy and effective two-way communication between strategic suppliers and Standard’s key stakeholders
    • Manages the completion of corrective action plans

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s degree requested. Masters preferred

     

    Experience:

    • Proactively manage vendor compliance with SLA and contract requirements
    • 6-10 years contract and sourcing management
    • Experience in implementation and management of sourcing strategy and vision
    • Negotiation of project, outsourced service and asset based supplier contracts
    • Proficient in the use of MS SharePoint, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Experience in process improvement, as well as agile and/or lean methodologies
    • Knowledge of legal terminology and language related to supplier agreements
    • Proven negotiation, contracting and project management skills
    • Demonstrated success in designing presentations for senior management
    • Flexibility and adaptability to effectively adjust to new scenarios and obstables
    • Demonstrated ability to inspire others and build effective teams, as well as being a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator
    • Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships at strategic suppliers
    • Promote corporate objectives and change initiatives
    • Ability to develop financial analysis
